Despite it being widely expected that Charlie McConalogue and Pat the Cope Gallagher will stand for Fianna Fail in Donegal in the next election, the party’s PRO here says it is certainly not a fait accompli.
Fianna Fáil Donegal will select its candidates to contest the next General Election in October – nominations must be in by Friday the 4th of September.
It is speculated that Pat the Cope Gallagher will be successful in securing a nomination to run alongside sitting TD Charlie McConalogue – But party PRO Aine McGinley says nothing is decided yet:
