One thousand jobs are to be created in the North West as work on two films at a former British army barracks in Derry is beginning in the coming months.
According to Shackelton Studios in Ballykelly, the budget for the first film is 65 million pounds and will create 1,000 jobs in the North West.
Work on the two films, one English the other American ,is due to start before Christmas.
Councillor Patsy Kelly says this has huge potential for the North West:
