NW Development Officer, Brian Allen, said the competition was open to clubs generally or individual players who could make up their own teams, and that the format wouldn’t be restricted to any specific venue.
They will use a leather indoor ball that doesn’t require full protective equipment and the league is open to all.
It is designed to give current players a longer season and new players a taste of competitive cricket.
