Edendork will move up to the Tyrone Senior Championship next year after winning Sunday’s Intermediate Final beating Urney 2-12 to 1-12.
It’s a first title in 30 years for the St Malachy’s club who last tasted success in 1985.
After more than 20 years playing with Edendork it’s a first championship medal for Brian McGuckin.
He now ends his playing career to take up a new role as assistant to new Derry manager Damian Barton.
Speaking with Francis Mooney, Brian said it’s a fabulous day for the club.
