Several fire appliances from each side of the border were deployed earlier this afternoon to combat a blaze at an industrial unit in Bridgend.
The call was received at approximately 12.40pm this afternoon and the incident continued for the past number of hours as fire fighters from both the Donegal and Foyle fire service successfully put out the fire.
No injuries have reported.
It’s believed the fire happened in a vacant unit but the extent of damage to other premises in the area is not yet known.
