Police appeal after woman’s bag is snatched in Derry

A purse has been snatched from a woman in the Waterside area of Derry.
The woman was walking at Nelson Drive at about 11.30am on Thursday (29th) when a male on a black BMX approached from behind and snatched her handbag.
The cream shoulder bag contained money and a mobile phone.
The thief was last seen making off towards Maggie’s Lane.
Anyone who saw the incident occur is asked to contact police.
