Donegal Labour representative Seamus Rodgers will Chair a meeting of the National Committee for Retired Members’ of SIPTU today with calls for investement in community nursing homes and care for older people high on the agenda.
Other issues to be discussed at the meeting at Liberty Hall in Dublin will be housing, pensions, health and prescription charges and transport for older people.
Mr Rodgers says the meeting provides an important and use point of contact between retired Siptu members and younger people who are currently involved………….
