Patrick McEleney not to play for Derry City next season

 
Patrick McEleney says he won’t be playing at Derry City next season – and he leaves the club with a heavy heart.
The 23 year old says he will decide today on whether to join Dundalk or St. Patrick’s Athletic.
The two Premier Division clubs are wanting to sign McEleney after his talks with Derry City over a renewed contract ended.
McEleney has told the Derry Journal newspaper that he grew increasingly frustrated with Derry City. He said their contract offer was basically the same as last year’s contract – and because of that, he won’t be staying.
