Ardal Mc Dermott and the Donegal Senior Hurling Squad open their 2016 season this Saturday with a game against Derry in the Conor Mc Gurk tournament hosted by Queens University.
This will be an opportunity for McDermott to try out some new faces and to assess his options in advance of the National Hurling League campaign.
