Donegal-based pole-vaulter takes fifth place in New York

Donegal’s high profile pole-vaulter Tori Pena secured fifth spot despite tough competition at a high profile tournament in America.
Tori, who is from California but competes for Finn Valley AC, was jumping at the Millrose Games in Washington Heights, New York.
She is set to represent Ireland at the 2016 Olympic Games and cleared four metres with a jump of 4.30 metres on Saturday.
Also in athletics, it was Race 2 in the Finn Valley Spring Series 5k on Sunday and the individual winners were Dermot Brennan (Fintown) and Stacy Dolan (Aghyaran).
