Derry Manager Damian Barton will miss the next five games in the National Football League due to an eight week suspension by the Ulster Council.
The ban has been imposed as a result of his involvement in an incident during the McKenna Cup Final against Tyrone at the end of January.
Barton was one of a number sent off during the second half.
This week the Derry County Board and Barton decided against an appeal after the punishment was handed out a few weeks ago.
His ban starts this Sunday against Galway at Celtic Park.
