The Irish cricketers start their ICC World Twenty20 campaign in India on Wednesday.
Middle-Eastern side, Oman are first up for Ireland before they face Bangladesh on Friday, and then The Netherlands, their final group opponents on Sunday.
The north west league is well represented in the squad with Bready’s Craig Young, Eglinton’s Stuart Thompson and Donemana’s Andy Mc Brine included for the tournament, while former Bready man Boyd Rankin and ex Donemana man William Porterfield add experience to the side.
