Road Safety Officer urges motorists to heed warnings over Easter weekend

Almost 50 percent of motorists say bad habits of other drivers cause road rage, according to a survey commissioned by Continental Tyres.
The most annoying habit identified by those surveyed was mobile phone use behind the wheel.
The other most annoying habits identified include dangerous or illegal overtaking; driving too slowly, not indicating or bad lane discipline and breaking the speed limit.
Meanwhile, Donegal County Council’s Road Safety Officer Brian O’Donnell is urging people to drive carefully over the Easter Holiday Weekend.
He says in many instances, the basic road safety messages are not getting through………
