A Midlands North West MEP says if the proposed waste water treatment plant were to be allowed go ahead at Carnagarve, Moville, then it would be a travesty.
The Campaign for a clean estuary says its understanding is that amended legislation introduced at the behest of the EU apply only to projects into the future, so despite Carnagarve residents winning their case in Europe, amended laws only cover future complaints.
MEP Marian Harkin says it would be a travesty if that were the case…….
