The Dungloe based company Irish Fish Canners says a business development programme has allowed them secure new contracts in countries as far afield as Australia, Japan and Jamaica.
The Dungloe plant is the only fish canning facility in Ireland, and currently employs 35 people fulltime at its facility in Dungloe.
Business Development Manager Karl Bonner says participation in the “Lean Transformation Programme” rolled out by Údarás na Gaeltachta has made the business more efficient, and moving into own brand canning has been a key element of that………..
