The rugby series in South Africa ended in disappointment for Ireland but the matches were high-level affairs with some great performances across several close encounters for the fans.
That was the verdict today of Highland Radio’s rugby correspondent Alex McDonald.
He pointed out that each match was won by only six points.
Ireland lost 19 v 13 against South Africa at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
