Donegal hurling Under-21 manager Tom Hennessy has said his players were hit by everything but overcame the assault to prevail.
He was speaking on Sunday Sport to Myles Gallagher, following the U21s’ great win on Saturday in the Andrew O’Neill Cup semi-final.
They won the All Ireland U21 Hurling Championship tie against Louth on a score of Donegal 4-11 (23) v Louth 1-10 (13) to reach the Andrew O’Neill Cup Final.
