Donegal hotelier, Deirdre McGlone believes the county is worthy of the coveted Foodie Destination Award.
Foodie Destination is an award launched by The Restaurant Associations of Ireland which recognises Ireland’s top food destination. Each year one county is awarded the title after a judging process and a public vote.
Speaking earlier on the Weekend Edition with Greg Hughes, Deirdre of Harvey’s Point says that Donegal has a lot to offer in the form of artisan producers, restaurants and hotels and if all collaborated the county could be in with a chance of wining the prestigious award:
