Seanad to debate Donegal transport links

A key debate with Transport Minister Shane Ross on air and road links to Donegal is taking place in the Seanad later today.
The debate is set to focus on two key issues – the funding of the A5 and City of Derry Airport.
It has been claimed that the Irish Government has not contributed to the running of the airport in Derry since 2011 while they are also being urged to provide more funding for the A5 upgrade.
Senator Padraig MacLochlainn says both services are vital in providing a gateway to Donegal, and therefore the Irish Government should be doing more………..
