Women’s November Series result: Ireland 7 v 48 Canada
Ireland’s women were convincingly outplayed by Canada today in a crushing 48 to 7 defeat.
Canada ran in seven tries in the 41-point loss against Ireland (pictured thanks to Irish Rugby) at the Belfield Bowl in Dublin.
It meant disappointment for North West players Katie Norris, from Derry, and Cappry’s Larissa Muldoon, who was on the bench.
It means that Canada have continued their phenomenal year, going 11 months without defeat.
Today, they scored three tries and 24 unanswered points in the first half.
They led 24-0 at the break.
Ireland were better in the second half, but Canada were cruising by then and won well.
