Family alerted by smoke alarm as fire damages house in Burt

Fire service personnel from Letterkenny and Derry fought a blaze at a house in Burt last night.
The fire was reported at 9.25, with fire crews on site within 15 minutes.
There was substantial damage to the attic and first floor
The fire service says family members were alerted by a smoke alarm, and everyone had left the house safely before fire crews arrived.
