Number of people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital falls

 
The number of people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital has dropped significantly today with 16 people waiting for a bed this morning.
According to the INMO 5 were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 11 were on wards or in overflow areas.
The number is down 9 from yesterday’s figure of 25.
Earlier this week the hospital recorded the country’s highest number of people awaiting admission with 38 people in need of a bed on Tuesday.
