Homes evacuated following security alert in Derry

A number of homes in Derry have been evacuated following a security alert.
Police are currently attending the scene in the Earhart Park area of the city following the report of a suspicious object.
Part of Earhart Park has been closed and local residents are advised that Shantallow Community Centre is open for any evacuated residents who require shelter.
