Defence at mind for Horgan ahead of Sligo clash

The second North-West derby of the year takes place tonight, when Finn Harps host Sligo Rovers in Ballybofey, in the Airtricity League.
After a poor start to the season for Sligo, they picked up their first win of the season when they defeated Bray last week, in the Showgrounds.
Harps have got off to a better start than their rivals, but boss Ollie Horgan is weary of the threat going forward that the opposition possess.
“I watched them last Saturday night at the Showgrounds and they have plenty of quality. They had a poor enough start to the season but they are better than that and showed against Bray what they are really capable of doing.”, Horgan said.
“Dave Robertson will be looking for three points tonight so we must be ready and prepared to work for the full 90 minutes to get a win. Sligo scored three goals against Bray so we must be disciplined defensively first and foremost and hopefully we can create chances at the other end, which we must finish.”
“Yes we had two decent results in the last week against Pat’s and Limerick but we will be back to square one if our lads don’t get the right result tonight.”
There will be a keen eye on some of Sligo’s Donegal talent within their ranks with keeper Sean Patton (Bonagee) Ramelton’s Kyle Callan-McFadden and Liam Martin from Donegal Town all in the Sligo squad. All three featured in the win over Bray last weekend.
Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
