Meanwhile, the Derry Journal are reporting today that Derry City will stage their UEFA Europa league first round qualifier at the Showgrounds in Sligo, after Sligo Rovers reduced the fee for use ot its facilities.
Dundalk’s Oriel Park had already been identified as the venue of choice by Derry, but it’s believed Sligo’s grass pitch is the preferred option for City boss,Kenny Shiels.
