Following the publishing of the Revenue Commissioner’s report on Customs requirements post-Brexit, Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty is calling on all Donegal TDs to embark on a campaign for Special Status for the North.
The Sinn Fein Finance Spokesperson says the report further alludes to calls for the North to remain an EU member state as revenue Commissioner’s believe there is no way to prevent a return to a hard border unless the North is granted Special Status.
Deputy Doherty says Northern Ireland leaving the EU will have detrimental effects on Donegal, he is urging those in power to support the mandate:
