Omagh Remembrance Sunday security alert condemned

The Ulster Unionist Group Leader on Derry City and Strabane District Council, has hit out at yesterday’s attempted bombing in Omagh.
A viable device was found in the town yesterday close to where Remembrance Sunday Commemorations were to have been held.
Castlederg based Alderman Derek Hussey says some of those from Omagh who were unable to get to their own War Memorial because of the security situation came to Castlederg instead.
He says the Omagh Royal British Legion will be re-arranging the Wreath Laying and Commemoration at their local cenotaph.
