An online petition has been set up by a Letterkenny resident who believes the Old Courthouse building should be used by a community group like the Cara House Family Resource Centre.
While a number of organisations have already expressed an interest in locating to the Council-owned building, the local authority says that its use will be prioritised for its own needs.
