A proposal to repair two sections of road in the Churchill area has been deemed ineligible by Donegal County Council.
It had been hoped that the section at Drumacavney and a series of bad bends at Keelogues could be repaired by moving funding from another road that had been included in the Councils roads programme.
Local engineers proposed moving 40 thousand euro from Derroragh upper but the proposals did not receive the support of Letterkenny Cllrs this week.
Cllr Michael McBride says it’s disappointing but is confident that the sections will be included in the programme in the future:
