The Cathaoirleach of the Glenties Municipal District is calling on the Government to reinstate DEIS funding for schools in Donegal, without any further delay.
Coucillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig says there is massive financial pressure being placed on parents to support school communties.
He is urging the Government to support schools and provide them with much needed DEIS funding as he says some are effectively facing poverty:
