Patrick McEleney was back at the Brandywell on Friday night to support his hometown team.
McEleney left Derry to join Dundalk and then at the end of 2017 signed for Oldham Athletic in England’s League Two.
The 26 year old is targeting promotion with Oldham next season and has hopes of turning out on the International stage.
