Ambulance cover in Killybegs to be discussed in special meeting


A delegation from Donegal is to meet with the head of the National Ambulance Service next month to discuss ambulance cover in Killybegs.
Concern was raised earlier this year when it was revealed that the second ambulance serving the Killybegs area had been lying idle for over a year due to the withdrawal of a back-up crew.
Manus Boyle, a concerned resident living in South West Donegal, says the level of service in the Killybegs area is far from sufficient:
