Huge increase in number of Donegal people registering to vote


There has been a huge surge in the number of people in Donegal registering to vote ahead of the upcoming abortion referendum.
Figures released by the National Youth Council of Ireland reveal that 2885 young people in the county have registered to vote ahead of taking to the polls on Friday, an increase of 128% compared to voter registration for the 2015 marriage equality referendum.
