Number of people waiting on a bed at LUH drops

5 people are waiting on a bed at Letterkenny University this morning, down 9 on yesterday’s figure.
According to the INMO, 2 people are on trolleys in the hospital’s emergency department with a further 3 waiting on wards or in overflow areas.
328 people are awaiting admission to hospitals across the country today with Cork University Hospital the most overcrowded hospital where 38 people are waiting on a bed.
