30 people waiting on a bed at LUH today

At Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, there were 30 people awaiting in-patient beds, eight of them on Emergency Department trolleys. That’s the joint second highest figure in the country, alongside University Hospital Galway.
Nationally, the figure was 425, with the highest number, 48, at University Hospital Limerick.
