Number of people awaiting admission to LUH drops dramatically

The number of people awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital this morning has dropped dramatically today with 15 people waiting for a bed there this morning.
One person was on a trolley in its Emergency Department while a further 14 were waiting on wards.
The number is less than half of yesterdays figure of 39 and bucks the trend of days previous where the figure was well above 40.
The nationwide figure today is 341.
