54 people awaiting admission to LUH this morning

 

Letterkenny University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today with 54 people awaiting admission there this morning.
20 people were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 34 were waiting on wards.
The number is considerably higher than yesterdays figure of 31 where the hospital was ranked as the third most overcrowded in the country.
Today, the hospital is surpassed only by University Hospital Limerick with 55 people waiting there.
Nationally, there are 525 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
