McGuinness says signs of Brexit breakthrough not encouraging


Forecasts of a breakthrough in the Brexit talks are being downplayed once again.
It was thought the British Prime Minister Theresa May would present a draft deal to her cabinet tomorrow.
But sources have since suggested that EU and UK negotiators still have some work to do.
Vice-President of the European Parliament and Midlands North West MEP Mairead McGuinness is in Strasbourg, and she thinks the signs aren’t encouraging:
