The Children’s Rights Alliance has welcomed the extension of the HPV vaccine to teenage boys from next year.
It follows a recommendation from the health watchdog HIQA.
The Alliance says it’s critical that adequate resources are now put in place to ensure the programme can be run effectively across the country.
