Public consultation underway on Meenamullagan Bridge



People are being invited to have their say on the reconstruction of Meenamullagan Bridge.

It’s proposed to carry out works to replace the existing collapsed bridge which spans the River Crana.
The works will involve the demolition of the existing bridge and the construction of a new 7.1m wide and 24.3m long, single span concrete bridge with a 5.5m wide carriageway over the River Crana.
The project will include the construction of 90m of approach road with associated embankments, road restraint systems, surfacing, drainage and accommodation works.
The temporary bridge will also be removed upon completion of the works.
Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and development of the area in which the development is situated may be made in writing to The County houses in Lifford before 4.30pm on Tuesday 12th February.
