Cold snap leaves routes across Donegal treacherous

 

Heavy snow and icy conditions have left routes across Donegal treacherous this morning.
A snow ice warning remains in place for the county until Saturday with further wintry conditions expected tonight.
Motorists are being urged to exercise extreme caution today as sub-zero temperatures are set to continue throughout this morning.
Further falls of snow are also likely this morning with people being advised to assume that no road is ice free.
