An end is in sight to a long running issue with sewage in the Dromore Park area of Killygordon, following a deal between Donegal County Council, the local residents and Dromore National School.
A new Foul Pumping Station will be located within the estate’s open space area, with additional capacity to serve the Dromore National School.
A new rising main will be constructed from the Dromore Park location to the existing foul network in Killygordon, with €30,000 being made available by the government to allow the council carry out the extra work.
The school has tendered for works it needs to have done, and is cooperating closely with the council.
