A local election candidate has hit out at posters being erected at various scenic locations in Donegal.
It’s been claimed that large posters have been put up at a junction west of the county which is obscuring the view of Errigal while another has emerged on a ‘Welcome to Donegal’ sign.
In other instances posters have been spotted on ESB poles and and on speed limit signs.
Seamus Rogers, a Labour candidate in the Glenties Municipal District says the location of some posters shows a total disregard for public safety and the environment:
