There’s pressure on the Government to sign off on a Mica Redress Scheme at a cabinet meeting tomorrow.
Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy said in recent days that it was anticipated the scheme would be brought before cabinet this week.
A redress scheme was first promised in October last year.
Senator Padraig MacLochlainn believes that the scheme should be fully funded by the State as is the case with Pyrite Resolution Scheme.
He says there can no more excuses, and tomorrow’s meeting must be the one that finally does the right thing:
