PSNI investigate burglary at house in Abbeydale area of Derry

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a report of a burglary at a house in the Abbeydale area of Derry yesterday.
It was reported that entry was gained sometime between 12:15 pm and 8pm.
Several rooms in the house were ransacked and a number of cupboards and drawers searched but it is not believed that anything was stolen as a result.
Two males were disturbed close to the house by a neighbour between 7pm and 8pm. Detectives are working to establish is they were involved.
Detectives are appealing to anyone with information or who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact them at Strand Road on 101.
