St Eunan’s are Donegal Under-21 A Football Champions FT Report & Reaction


St Eunan’s have retained their Donegal Under-21 A Football Championship after they defeated Naomh Conaill 2-09 to 1-02.
In a low scoring game it was St Eunan’s that led by five points to one at half time, with three of the scores coming from the boot of Niall O’Donnell.
St Eunan’s started the second half strongly and fired in two quick goals via Pauric McGettigan and Niall O’Donnell to all but put the game out of Naomh Conaill’s reach.
Nathan Byrne scored a late goal for the Glenties side but it was the Cathedral town side that claimed their second Donegal Under 21 title in as many years.
