Plans for a second full time breast surgeon at Letterkenny University Hospital seem to be in doubt again, after the latest regional health forum meeting.
Previously, the Government gave a commitment that a second surgeon would be deployed to the hospital in the very near future.
However, questions were asked over when the vacancy would be filled at yesterday’s meeting and despite hopes that it was imminent, it’s understood that more figures and statistics are needed from LUH.
