Donegal County Council is being encouraged to consider a suitable sculpture or piece of art for the roundabout at O’Donnell Park, outside Letterkenny.
It’ thought that the proposed monument would recognise the contribution of the St.Eunan’s Club to Gaelic Games in the county and beyond.
The club is 90 years old this year and Cllr Jimmy Kavanagh believes the move would be both a fitting tribute and compliment the town overall:
