Met Eireann issues thunderstorm warning for northwest

 
Met Eireann has issued a status yellow thunderstorm warning for the northwest.
The alert is for Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo and Northern Ireland and runs until 10am.
The forecaster is predicting localised heavy downpours.
