A Donegal Deputy has hit out at the Government over giving Junior Ministers a pay rise during a pandemic.
The Cabinet is expected to sign off on legislation later today which will provide pay increases for three super junior ministers.
Those set to benefit are Fianna Fáil’s Jack Chambers, who is chief whip, Fine Gael’s Hildegarde Naughten and Green Party Senator Pippa Hackett.
Their current salary is in the region of 124,000 euro and this legislation would see that increase by 16 thousand euro.
